Sand Hills

Sand Hills was developed using the Paint Pouring technique which is a free flowing method of creating stunning landscapes.

I was delighted to discover that there can be several different interpretations of this painting. A wave, a tidal plane, a bay etc. This piece developed of its own accord and I was surprised and delighted by the finished product and the reactions of the people viewing it when I heard some saw it as cherry blossoms in Japan or a snow scene.

Personally for me it is a sunset over the Indian Ocean with the soft pink and pastel blue over the ocean, sand hills and if you look carefully there’s a surfer on a board riding the wave to the shore. He appeared of his own volition which was a little bit of serendipity.
